Our lab moved from Geneva to Tokyo in April 2020. Open projects related to biophysical engineering are always available. Anybody from any background at different career levels are welcome to join our group!
杉原研究室は２０２０年にジュネーブから東京に引越してきました。生物物理工学の研究がしたい！という方は専門分野に関わらず、インターンシップ、学部、修士、博士、ポスドクと全てのキャリアレベルで大歓迎です。私達が所属する生産技術研究所では学部生が少ないため、杉原研究室のメンバーはほぼ全ての方が修士、または博士の段階で他大学から移ってきた方達です。学部、修士、博士の間で研究室を変えるのが不安ということは全くありません。興味のある方は是非とりあえずご連絡下さい！
postdocs
There are several Japanese fellowships for postdocs (e.g. JSPS Fellow) in addition to the one from the institute. If you are from Europe, you may be also eligible for HFSP postdoctoral fellowships, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, EMBO postdoctoral fellowship, FEBS long term fellowship. I will be happy to help you with the applications. Contact me for the details!

doctor students
If you are interested in joining us as a Doctor student, first contact me and send us your CV! Selected candidates will be invited for an interview. Our lab is under the Department of Chemical Systems Engineering and the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, the Faculty of Engineering. Therefore, once the candidates are accepted by the lab, they need to apply for a PhD program in either of the Department, while specifying us as a host.
1. Enrollment under the Department of Chemical Systems Engineering
– International Multidisciplinary Engineering Graduate Program (twice per year)
– Graduate Admissions for the Department of Chemical System Engineering (once per year)

博士から研究室に参加したいという方も大歓迎です！興味のある方は是非ご連絡下さい！私たちの研究室は工学系研究科化学システム工学専攻と工学系研究科先端学際工学専攻に属しています。したがって私たちの研究室で博士課程の研究をするためには、どちらかの専攻の博士課程に入学し、研究室選択の際杉原研究室をホストとして選んでいただく事になります。入試に関する詳細情報は下のウェブページから確認して下さい。
